  4. I wish I knew what your problem with FCOM was, anonymous. I had no trouble at all guiding a dozen people through it a few days ago.

As for the other anonymous question about OBGE you need to start the game once with OBGE enabled before it's ini will pop up. I'll add a note in the guide, hadn't crossed my mind; the answer IS in the readme, though.

  7. u should really add more detailed info at step 7 D. ....I find it very confusing on tesnexus are more requierments, dozen of mods that I don t know which one to install... there is this mod bravil blood mud

  8. This guide doesn't suggest you install Bravil Mud and Blood so, plainly, you don't need a patch for it unless you decide to use it.

You need to pay attention to what you are downloading and installing. I try to hold your hand as much as possible throughout my guide but it's not possible for me to accommodate people going into autopilot; you need to have your wits about you if you are going to mod this game.

If you have Knights of the Nine installed, for example, you need the Knights of the Nine patch installed for Open Cities. You need to read through all of the patches and use the ones for the content you already have installed.

If you have a question on how to install a mod, very likely your question has already been answered in the Mod's readme. I shouldn't have to answer questions that are already answered in the readme, should I?

  10. The FCOM installation guide says things like this:

    * Download and install Loth's Blunt Weapons for NPCs.
    * Use FCOM_LothsBluntWeapons.esp and load after Loth's Blunt Weapons for NPCs.esp.
    * Activate (check) the plugins in Wrye Bash.

But there is no FCOM_LothsBlundWeapons.esp. What do? Thanks in advance.

  14. I found the Oblivion modding guide a month ago and I followed it. Since then, I've expanded my mod collection. I've learned enough to the point where I'm helping other people mod their Oblivion as well.

Needless to say, I think I love you.
    Intimately.

  18. I used your modding guide for Morrowind, worked great. Now I'm running through Oblivion again to get psyched up for Skyrim.

Thanks for all your hard work here.
